I want to play games on my Mac M1.
- Site to check if a game can be played natively on Mac M1: Apple Silicon Games. You can also check the compatibility on Steam or Epic Games when a game has an apple icon next to Windows.
Note that, many 32-bit games cannot be played with macOS ≥ 10.15 using Steam.
- You have a Gaming PC running Windows. You want to play games from Mac M1 and these games are playing on the Windows PC, check Stream games between 2 computers in the same local network.
- Free alternatives to CrossOver: Heroic Games Launcher (I can only install Epic Games Launcher with this one, this also supports GOG and AMZ Prime games) + Whisky (I cannot install Epic Game Laucner with this but Steam). You have to install HGL with Whisky (or other Wine engines).
- If it’s impossible to download Window-version of some launchers, you can change the user-agent of the browser to simulate it as a Windows before downloading the launcher.
